Carter Jonas and Jeffersons to merge
Carter Jonas and Cambridge-based Jeffersons Commercial have announced plans to merge with effect from 1 May. The Jeffersons team, led by Will Mooney and Ben Oughton, will relocate to Carter Jonas’ Cambridge office. Carter Jonas head of commercial Chris Haworth says the move is part of a “strategic growth plan” for its commercial division across the Eastern region and will also enable the group to strengthen its presence in London.
Mooney and Oughton will become Equity Partners with immediate effect. They will be responsible for running the agency and professional departments for Cambridge and the eastern region. Mooney said that the Jeffersons client list and profile had been steadily expanding over the past five years and this had brought an increasing requirement for a full service consultancy. “Carter Jonas has a national presence and by combining the resources and skill base of the two businesses means we can offer our clients an enhanced service, and build on the success we have achieved thus far,” he added.
