Kings Cross wins ‘Most Innovative Development in the Last 20 Years’ at Property Awards 2015

The Kings Cross regeneration project was the winner of the Most Innovative Development of the Past 20 years at the Property Awards 2015.

Developed by Argent, Kings Cross beat competition from The Shard, One Angel Square in Manchester, Liverpool One and The Tea Building in London to win the award.

The winner was chosen using an interactive audience vote at the Property Awards 2015, which took place last night in London. NovaLoca attended the event and sponsored the Retail agency of the Year award.

Argent were selected as developers in 2001 and have transformed the 67 acre Kings Cross site into a vibrant and thriving commercial hub that has attractive high profile occupiers, including Google and Havas.

The development has provided 50 new buildings, 2,000 new homes, 20 new streets and 26 acres of open space, as well as enjoying a brand new postcode, N1C.

Argent took to Twitter to celebrate the success, while The Shard posted their congratulations to their victorious rival.
