Busy times at SBH Page & Read

SBH Page & Read has reported a slew of deals from its Docklands and Enfield offices. Among the transactions out of the firm’s Docklands office is the 10-year lease of 10,890 sq t at Remus House in Bow E3 for the ABBA Litho Pension Fund to Ican Centre at a £70,000 annual rent. SBH Page & Read has also let 13,262 sq ft at 38-40 London Industrial Park in Beckton E6 for the CAA Pension Scheme to Spicer, for five years at an annual rent of £103,444, and 10,500 sq ft at Wood Wharf Business Park in the Docklands to Kier Construction on a one-year lease at £70,000 per annum.

The Docklands office has also reported two sales in Barking: a 24,222 sq ft industrial unit sold to USB International for £1.4m and a 17,246 sq ft property sold to Silver Lining Industries for £1.2m.

Lettings out of SBH Page & Read’s Enfield office include 48,711 sq ft on Brantwood Road in Tottenham let to Dam Dam North Ltd for Venus Wines on a 10-year lease at an annual rent of £230,000; Venus Wines has itself taken 65,454 sq ft on Garman Road in Tottenham from Horizon Holdings on a similar-length lease at £360,000 annual rent. Also in Tottenham, the firm has let 11,657 sq ft on the Elmlea Trading Estate for 10 years at a £70,000 annual rent, and 21,039 sq ft on Garman Road for five years at a £110,000 annual rent.

Other lettings include the 10-year lease of two units on the Cranford Way industrial estate in Hornsey, for Threadneedle Pensions. One unit, of 11,288 sq ft, has been let to SmartVan at an annual rent of £79,016; the other, at 11,588 sq ft, has been let to Stonecrest Marble at £80,906 per annum. The Enfield office has also let 25,250 sq ft on the Trident estate in Hoddesdon at £153,571 per annum on a seven-year lease, and 6,500 sq ft on the Trafalgar trading estate in Enfield on a five-year lease at an annual rent of £52,136.
