Digby Flower and Andrew Parker join Cushman & Wakefield
Cushman & Wakefield has today announced the appointments of Digby Flower and Andrew Parker from CBRE.
Digby Flower, who joins C&W as a partner and head of London markets, has been at CBRE for the past 17 years and was on CBRE’s Central London board. Andrew Parker, who becomes a partner at C&W and head of its City of London agency, was at CBRE for 23 years.
C&W’s London markets operations comprise the agency, investment and development functions. C&W said the appointments were part of an “ongoing strategic recruitment initiative” and would help it to become the leading real estate adviser in London. Paul Bacon, CEO of C&W EMEA, said the firm had been growing its London presence in recent years “to be on a par with our leading position in New York and other major cities”.
Property Week last week reported that C&W had been asked to re-pitch for the prestigious leasing mandate at Heron Tower, whereas CBRE had not been asked to re-pitch and had retained its mandate. There was speculation that other firms might try to pitch against C&W for what is currently the single largest active office leasing mandate in the City.
Meanwhile, Colin Wilson has been appointed as head of DTZ UK & Ireland, reporting to John Forrester. He has run the Central London team at DTZ for the past four years and was previously national investment agency coordinator.
