Five Doncaster lettings for Gent Visick in as many months
Gent Visick has secured five deals involving industrial property in Doncaster during the past five months. The deals, which have cut the amount of industrial floor space available in the Doncaster area by 125,630 sq ft, include three transactions at the Carcroft Enterprise Park north of Doncaster centre for Electro-Motive Diesels, Clarks Vehicle Conversions and PMF Products, which are all expanding their operations. On the Shaw Lane business park, Eurocare Showers have relocated to a 17,000 sq ft unit, doubling the company’s production space, and on Ogden Road, sofa company SCS have part-let the former Miller Brothers warehouse in a 10-year deal on 31,626 sq ft.
Gent Visick’s Nick Prescott says the firm has continued to receive a “steady flow” of enquiries for available industrial space in Doncaster, particularly from manufacturing companies seeking units below 30,000 sq ft.
“The supply of existing industrial stock is continuing to fall and the redevelopment of estates such as Industry Park has compounded this,” he adds. “The lack of appetite for speculative development alongside consistent take-up will inevitably result in rental growth in the near future.”
