With just two weeks to go until Christmas, we’re looking at some of the most festive places to do your shopping this winter. Across the UK, towns and cities have embraced the Christmas spirit and that can only be a good thing for consumers and businesses alike.
Birmingham
Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas market brings a wealth of German produce to the UK, as well as a classic market feel. You will find a range of treats on offer, such as pretzels, sausages, waffles and traditional German beer, to name just a few of the reasons to visit the largest outdoor Christmas market in the country.
Manchester
Boasting over 300 stalls from around Europe, you will find everything from Spanish paella, to French profiteroles and Hungarian goulash. Whether you are shopping for toys, jewellery, delicacies or accessories, you won’t be short for unique and cultural gift ideas.
Winter Wonderland – London
Winter Wonderland at London’s Hyde Park is more than just a Christmas market, with a range of festive activities and events on offer. There’s the stunning ice rink, the Magical Ice Kingdom and plenty of shows meaning it’s perfect for families and shoppers alike.
Henley-on-Thames
Christmas in Henley-on-Thames is like living in an advent calendar. Every evening at 6:15pm there is a different event on offer. But it doesn’t stop there, as there is also a lovely market, fairground rides and carol singing. And of course, a classic Santa’s grotto.
Canterbury
Is there a better location for a Christmas market? The medieval streets of Canterbury play host to a traditional market, complete with festive music and a range of wintery treats to enjoy while you wander through the various stalls.
