What happened at the 2016 IAS 5-aside football competition?
Keeping up with great tradition, NovaLoca once again participated in the IAS 5-aside football competition sponsored by SEGRO at the PowerLeague grounds next to Wembley stadium.
NovaLoca travelled down to London to face some of the biggest names in industrial property and were drawn against Brasier Freeth, Kier and CBRE.
The games kicked off at 2pm with NovaLoca boys in high spirits and ready to thrash the other teams! Our first 15 minute game saw us up against CBRE in an exciting, fast-paced game. Unfortunately for us, CBRE smashed out a win beating us 4-2.
Next we were up against the brilliant Brasier Freeth. After the loss to CBRE, we came back fighting fit in a game following on immediately after the first and won 3-2!
Our final game resulted in an unfortunate loss to Kier Property!
Although we weren’t the champions, we had a fantastic time and would like to thank IAS and SEGRO for hosting such a brilliant competition that brings us all together. The BBQ and the free bar went down a treat too!
