UBC Announces New Office Lettings at Ancells Business Park
UBC, a leading operator of flexible space solutions across the UK, is delighted to welcome a number of new clients to its Fleet office, which offers a variety of serviced, managed and leasehold options for growing businesses.
UBC’s Sales & Marketing Director Jane Erasmus is thrilled to welcome Vitrine Systems, Logic Contract Services, and EPI Group to Sentinel House, and looks forward to supporting their business goals in the future.
Flexibility and Location
Vitrine Systems, an architectural and structural glazing specialist, chose UBC Fleet having outgrown their previous space, which they had occupied for 19 years.
UBC Fleet met the company’s evolving needs by providing a space easily accessible by road and rail, with modern amenities and ample parking for business vehicles.
“We needed an open-plan office with natural light that would enable us to maximise our space utilisation, and encourage collaboration between teams and departments,” said Maritz Naude of Vitrine Systems. “After visiting several business parks in the area, we found that Sentinel House met most of our initial criteria. Additionally, it was part of a serviced office environment, which was a bonus. We were able to secure a long-term lease, which suited our needs perfectly.”
For Logic Contract Services, a contractor specialising in mechanical, electrical, and fabric refurbishment services, location is crucial. The company chose UBC Fleet for its highly accessible location close to major motorways, and for the many onsite facilities.
In addition, the ample space within the office and shared areas, and the flexibility to adapt the space for what the business and employees needed, contributed to their decision.
EPI Group, a geoscience and geophysical consultancy to the energy industry, chose UBC Fleet for several reasons, specifically for UBC’s aim to improve energy efficiency, which is important to EPI given its carbon-neutral status.
Sentinel House building owner Picton in partnership with UBC, has embarked on a net zero carbon pathway and has recently invested £215,000 at Sentinel House in new solar panels to both buildings along with other elements including window and roof refurbishments designed to provide improved thermal performance and reduce carbon emissions.
Another crucial factor for EPI Group is the cost efficiency of leasing space with UBC. Sentinel House in Fleet offers all the benefits of a flexible space including receptionist services, high-quality amenities, lounge and breakout areas, and regular business networking events.
UBC’s Sentinel House comprises two interconnecting buildings, the second comprises 16,247 sq ft of lettable space and thanks to introductions from joint letting agents Curchod & Co and Hurse Warne, is now fully occupied.
Building 1, which comprises flexible space in various sizes and configurations, is now 75% occupied. This space provides shared coworking desks and private serviced offices ranging in size from single occupancy offices to larger team spaces accommodating up to 18 people.
Business Centre Manager Magda Bogusz comments: “We are excited to have Building 2 at 100% occupancy and I can’t wait to welcome more new occupiers to our vibrant community in Building 1.”
