Salisbury – Old George Mall  

       

AS Retail, the London based boutique retail and leisure agency, have recently been appointed by RailPen as joint leasing agents at Old George Mall in Salisbury.

Old George Mall is the dominant retailing pitch in the city. It has recently welcomed a 30,000 sq ft Primark in the former BHS which has boosted footfall by nearly 20% year on year. Other occupiers in the scheme include Marks & Spencer, H&M, Fat Face, Deichmann Shoes and WH Smith amongst others with the food offering being Pret, Costa, Greggs and independent venue Hixon.

Jetts Gyms Expansion

AS Retail are retained by Australian health and fitness brand Jetts Fitness to continue their exciting UK expansion.

Jetts are one of the world leaders in the sector with an affordable premium offering, hitting a real USP. Jetts now have 16 superb clubs in England with a further three in the immediate pipeline and a number of others coming on stream later this year and into 2025. The latest opening in Leeds (Rothwell) was in a former B&M store on Rothwell High Street totalling approx. 8,000 sq ft over two levels. Clubs in Central Manchester, Stratford (East London) and Farnham (Surrey) will be opening in the Summer/Autumn.

We have active requirements for excellent spaces of between 4,500 – 12,000 sq ft across the UK with priority locations being London, Greater London, South East England, M4 Corridor (Bristol to London), M3 Corridor (Southampton to London), South Coast, Leeds/West Yorkshire and East Lancashire. Other areas can be considered particularly around the existing network which includes the South West, West Midlands and North West.

BoConcept Opens in Cheltenham

AS Retail have recently advised their retained client BoConcept on their entry into Cheltenham.

BoConcept are one of the globe’s most recognisable furniture and lifestyle brands with over 300 showrooms in 60 countries, all via franchise partners. With over 20 showrooms in Great Britain the brand continues to selectively expand into targeted markets through our network of multi-site partners.

BoConcept have acquired the 3,800 sq ft former Middleton’s store at the quasi out-of-town Market Place development next to Schmidt Kitchens and facing the inner ring road.

Andrew Shepherd, Director at AS Retail, who advised BoConcept on the transaction commented “Cheltenham has been a long-term target for BoConcept and we’re thrilled to have finally secured the ideal showroom for them. We are very selective in our searches but this property fulfils the requirements of size, cost base, convenience, visibility and parking.
