Denbighshire is a county in Northern Wales situated in the Vale of Clwyd along the River Clwyd bounded by the Clwydian Hills in the west and the Irish Sea coastline to the north. Ruthin is the county’s administrative centre.
Tourism and agriculture are the main economy of the county. Prestatyn and Rhyl are popular seaside resorts. Many towns provide leisure accommodation, farmers markets and specialist food shops. There are still industrial parks in most towns such as Denbigh and the town of Llangollen which has leather-manufacturing and wool-milling industries. The North Wales Coast Railway Line also known as the North Wales Main Line is a major railway line in this part of Wales and the main road for the area is the A55.
