Faraday Retail Park in Coatbridge has been recently refurbished and is the only retail park in town. A former Tesco store on the site is being demolished to make way for a redevelopment of 41,000 sq ft plus mezzanine capability. This will occupy a prominent position, opposite Tesco Extra, adjacent to the entrance to the car park. The retail park is surrounded by a district population of about 420,000 within 10km of the town centre. Faraday Retail Park itself is highly accessible, located at the edge of the town, next to the South Circular ring road (A89).
