Aberdeen is Scotland's third largest city and lies on its east coast approximately 65 miles north east of Dundee to the east of the Cairngorms National Park. Road access via the A96, A956 and A90 and the city is served by two railway stations. Aberdeen railway station provides regional and national rail services and additional regional rail services are via Dyce railway station. Aberdeen International Airport lies approximately 6 miles to the north west of the city centre providing domestic and international flights.
The site is located in a suburb south of Aberdeen city centre called Balnagask, and is said to mean "the village in the hollow" in Gaelic. Situated on the corner of Grampian Place with Grampian Road in a residential location.
