Specification
The site, which is presently cleared of all buildings,
extends to 0.10 ha (0.248 acres) approximately as
shown outlined in red on the attached Ordnance
Survey extract.
Development works progressed circa 2008 but were
then terminated at an early stage. However, some
sheet and tubular piling, at the south (frontage) and
the west boundaries, remain on site from that time.
The subjects are presently secured with boundary
timber display fencing.
The surrounding area is characterised by a wide and
diverse mix of uses with retail, student accommodation,
office, hotel, residential development and various car
parks all in close proximity.
Immediately adjacent to the west of the site is
Riverside House which is a substantial traditional
stone built office building. Immediately to the east is
an undeveloped /cleared site, currently utilised for car
parking however we believe benefitting from planning
consent for a flatted residential development. Adjacent
to that at the corner of Clyde Street and Maxwell
Street is Graphical House which is an office building
where a planning application has been lodged for a
multi-storey hotel development.
