Milborne Port is a large, but friendly village in the South Eastern part of Somerset, on the edge of the Blackmore Vale and close to the Dorset border. Milborne Port is located east of Sherborne, and in the South Somerset district. The village is surrounded by green fields and countryside on the banks of the River Gascoigne, a tributary of the River Ivel or River Yeo.
The site is located in a mainly residential area on the west side of Higher Kingsbury on its junction with The Brambles.
