THE BUSINESS
The business has ceased trading although remains furnished and equipped.
Location
The village of Evanton lies just off the main A9 trunk route which links Glasgow with Wick in the far Northwest of Scotland, being approximately six miles Northwest of Dingwall and eighteen miles North of Inverness, the Highland capital and an ever expanding and improving city. Evanton actually straddles the B817 which runs parallel to the main A9 and is readily accessed therefrom. The subject premises lie in the centre of the village on the West side of the main thoroughfare, surrounded principally by residential properties but having other secondary and local retailers in close proximity, including a branch of the Co-op. The main A9 carries a very substantial volume of vehicles on a daily basis to and from the Highlands, and the volume of traffic is boosted in the busier summer months by a significant number of tourists. Evanton lies in close proximity to Invergordon on the Cromarty Firth which benefits from the oil rig fabrication yard at nearby Nig, recently acquired by Global Energy Group and earmarked for significant investment within the renewable energy sector.
