The property is in the roadside hamlet of Linwood, within the New Forest National Park approximately 2�XXX miles from its western boundary by the village of Rockford and, Salisbury Road (A338). Ringwood on the A31 is a further 1�XXX miles to the south. The park is situated on an unnamed country lane, approximately 50 metres east of its junction with Toms Lane, a no through road. The property adjoins the eastern boundary of the Red Shoot Inn and a caravan and camping touring park located at the rear of the inn. Lyndhurst is approximately 8 miles to the east.
Ringwood (population 14,181) is a historic market town located on the River Avon and is situated at the junction of the A31 and A338, which is one of the main roads serving the south coast. The town provides a range of amenities including a Waitrose supermarket. From Ringwood, the seaside town of Bournemouth is 12 miles to the south. Salisbury is 17 miles to the north. Southampton 21 miles to the east, and Dorchester 33 miles to the west. From Ringwood the A31 provides direct access to junction 1 of the M27 Motorway which, as well as providing access for both Southampton and Portsmouth, links with the M3 Motorway to provide a direct route to London, around 90 miles to the north east.
