The Hotel is situated at the junction of the A436 (Sheep Street) and the A429 (Fosse Way) occupying a visible corner location with the surface car park serving the property located immediately opposite. Stow-on-the-Wold is close to numerous historical towns and villages including Stratford -Upon-Avon, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Cirencester.

The Hotel has been converted from a number of adjoining buildings predominantly facing Sheep Street with a return frontage along the A429 (Fosse Way). The sale includes an adjacent surface car park with capacity for approximately 40 cars. An ownership plan is included within these particulars for information purposes. The property is constructed on a maximum of cellar, ground, first and second floors and is principally built of Cotswold Stone under pitched Cotswold Stone roof tiles and various parts of the property are believed to date from 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The property is Grade II Listed. Parts of the hotel have been refurbished over recent years including the restaurant and public bar areas in addition to the central heating gas fired boilers which are housed within a recently constructed building to the rear.
