Denehurst comprises a former dwelling house dating to the turn of the 19th Century which was extended on a substantial scale in the late 1980s in the form of a purpose built wing which was added to the south eastern elevation linked by a two storey corridor to the original buiding.  The older building has rendered elevations being built of brick with stone quoins under a pitched slate roof.  The modern buiding is constructed of brick/block under a multi-pitched artificial slate roof covering.
The rooms in the original building are good size and benefit from large bay windows, whilst the rooms in the newer block are of a more typical modern care home style to include ensuite facilities.
The bedrooms are served by five shower rooms/bathrooms with WC to include fitted wet rooms and assisted bathrooms.
