The subject site formerly comprised Glenrothes police station with
access taken directly off Napier Road. The site is predominantly level
laid with grass with an existing tree belt to the boundaries.
The existing building will shortly be demolished. The site would
suit a variety of commercial/leisure/residential uses subject to the
necessary statutory planning consent being obtained.
Location
Glenrothes with a resident population of 40,000 is one of Fife’s
principal towns. The town is strategically located within the heart of
Fife with excellent transport links to Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Cupar and
St Andrews with Dundee and Edinburgh within commuting distance.
The town is undergoing significant regeneration and expansion with a
new mixed use town centre development proposed to be developed
within the town centre which we understand incorporates a pre let to
M&S Foodhall and a number of restaurant operators.
The subject site is strategically situated in Glenrothes town centre
benefiting from an extensive return frontage onto Rothes Road
and Lesley Road (A911). Nearby occupiers included Fife Council,
Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi & Kingdom Shopping Centre.
Terms
Offers are invited for the site in part or as a whole with offers conditional
