Ruthin is an attractive and prosperous North Wales market town, as well as the county town for Denbighshire.
Located in the attractive Vale of Clwyd alongside the River Clwyd the town lies at the junction of the A494 with the A525 some 8 miles to the south east of Denbigh and within easy reach of Chester, Merseyside and the M6 via the A55, M56 and M53.
The town with a population of circa 5,500 has developed around the historic castle (1277) and market square and benefits from a wealth of historic buildings, many half timbered, making it a popular tourist destination.
