By car: The M57 / M58 interchange is approximately 5 miles away, taking roughly 15 minutes to reach via the A5036 or A59. The M62 is also around 5 miles away, taking 15-20 minutes to reach via the A5080.

By rail: Bootle Oriel Road train station is less than a five-minute walk away. From here, you can catch trains to Liverpool Central every 15 minutes, taking roughly 12 minutes. Liverpool Lime Street is roughly 3.5 miles away, taking 10 – 15 minutes to reach by car or a 20-minute cycle.

By bus: The closest bus station is a three-minute walk on Oriel Road, next to the train station. Buses from the city centre (47, 52, 52A, 53Q, 300, X2) leave from Roe Street every five minutes, taking around 15 minutes, stopping at Balliol Road or Trinity Road bus stop. From here, it’s roughly a six-minute walk.   

By air: Liverpool John Lennon Airport is around 12 miles away. From here, it takes about 30 minutes by car or an hour by public transport via local buses and Merseyrail. The larger Manchester airport is further away, taking around 50 minutes by car or an hour and a half by train.
