James Young House was built in the late 1970s and which was originally the administrative offices for YPLM Ltd - Young’s Paraffin Light and Mineral Oil Company, a subsidiary of BP Oil with a long history within the area. The site was closed down in the 1990s.
James Young House remains and now operates as a Business Centre offering businesses low cost office space in a peaceful semi-rural environment with excellent transport links.
