Developed jointly by Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the University of the Highlands and Islands, the Life Sciences Innovation Centre (LSIC) will provide both new research facilities and office & laboratory spaces for life science related businesses. LSIC is currently under construction and scheduled to open Winter 22/23.
University research at LSIC will include medical nanotechnology and active health. Within the UHI area, the new accommodation will include an innovation suite for product design and testing and shared spaces such as the ‘knowledge exchange suite’ to allow researchers and entrepreneurs to work alongside each other.
Activity in LSIC will align with the neighbouring new NHS elective care facility - National Treatment Centre (Highland) - providing collaborative space for academia, clinicians and businesses, and further collaboration opportunities exist with the range of commerical businesses located at Inverness Campus.

Accommodation
Targeted at the Life Science sector, a range of office suites are available over ground and first floors. The first floor is available for let as a whole.
