There is also a Conditions Deposit requirement which is equal to one quarters rent (vat is not charged on this) to be held by the landlord. The deposit will be returned when the tenant vacates, providing the offices are in the same condition as at the date of occupation. Should the cost of rectifying any wear and tear, or damage, not be met in full by the deposit held, the tenant will be personally liable for any additional costs.
