Andover is a town in the Test Valley district of Hampshire. The town is on the River Anton, a major tributary of the Test, and lies alongside the major A303 trunk road at the eastern end of Salisbury Plain, 18 miles west of the town of Basingstoke. It is 14 miles from Winchester, 35 miles north of Southampton and 65 miles from London. The Active8 service connects the smaller town of Tidworth with Andover and Salisbury, and is operated by both Stagecoach and Salisbury Reds.
The prime retail provision of Andover is located on the High Street which runs from Bridge Street, a secondary retail pitch, to the main Shopping Centre which is The Chantry Centre. The Centre is owned by the Local Authority with plans to redevelop are in place. The property is located on Bridge Street on its junction with High Street.
