Middlesbrough is a port town lying approximately 40 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne and 26 miles south east of Durham. It can be accessed via the A66, A19 and A172 with the A6 linking to the A1(M) at junction 58 to the west. Middlesbrough railway station lies within a short walking distance of the property and provides regional rail links as well as regular direct services to Manchester Piccadilly, Leeds, Manchester Airport and London Kings Cross. Additionally numerous bus routes serve the area and Teesdie International Airport lies approximately 10 miles to the south west of the town.
